YOGA for the PLANET Teacher Training ~ 200 HR ~ RYS

Yoga for the Planet is a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training following the Yoga Alliance guidelines, with an emphasis on self awareness both on and off the mat. Learn how to confidently create and lead a well balanced yoga class around a basic posture list using Sanskrit and gentle adjustments. Comparing Classical vs Tantric yoga theory, we will study the history of yoga, its evolution to the West and how it has evolved over time, eastern vs western anatomy and physiology, and theory and practice. Gain a deeper understanding of the lineage of yoga, as you get to know yourself a little better. Whether you feel called to teach or just deepen your practice, we are honored to guide you on this very personal journey of self discovery.

Becca's approach to yoga is unintimidating, heartfelt and playful, her teaching style is influenced by Anusara traditions with a very grounding heart opening approach focusing on alignment both on and off the mat. After a few years of teaching yoga , she wanted to deepen her knowledge and ability to help people find freedom in their bodies so  she enrolled in Massage school in 2011.  Wanting to take her teaching one step further, In 2014 she started Yoga for the planet, a 200 hour Yoga Alliance registered teacher training focusing on cultivating self awareness.
