Meditation Practice - Donation Class

This donation only class will explore various mediation techniques from different traditions including breathing, concentration, and visualization practices. If you are a beginning meditator and want to learn the how to's, or an experienced meditator and want a group to practice with, join us. Whether you are seeking greater focus, less stress, more peace of mind, or a deeper appreciation of the beauty and richness of life, the simple practice of sitting down and turning your attention inward can do wonders for your body and your mind. 


SURF + Yoga Experience

Experience the inherent connection between yoga and surf, land and sea, breath and movement with Salty Dog's Surf+Yoga Experience. The morning begins with a 45-minute yoga warm-up practice, with asanas and movement to inform your upcoming surf lesson. Then, Odysea Surf School takes the reigns as you head out to the beach for a 15-minute land instruction session followed by an hour on a board in the water with close, personal attention from Odysea's instructors. We'll wrap up the morning with an ice cold coconut or aloe water.

The Surf+Yoga Experience is a great way to add adventure to your trip to Pleasure Island, break free from your weekend workout routine, or (literally) add new elements to your yoga or surf practice. This package includes all instruction, board rental, and post-surf refreshments. $70/student, ages 12+ Pre-Registration required. Registration closes at noon on the Saturday before each workshop. 





**The Surf+Yoga Experience is weather-permitting. Should conditions require us to cancel, participants may select any other scheduled date as a rain date or receive a refund.

Nia is a sensory-based movement practice that draws from martial arts, dance arts and healing arts. It empowers people of all shapes and sizes by connecting the body, mind, emotions and spirit. Classes are taken barefoot to soul-stirring music in more than 45 countries. Trainings teach people how to get in their body, learn about The Body's Way and cultivate body-centered awareness. Aerial Yoga Workshops 
Select Sundays from 6:00-7:00pm

​Move your practice off the earth with Aerial Yoga! Utilizing silk "nests," we'll use gravity to assist and deepen classic asanas, and even work through hammock-assisted inversions. You'll get plenty of therapeutic stretching and relaxation as well, finishing your practice in a silk cocoon savasana. Space is limited, so be sure to enroll in advance. Registration closes at 12pm on the day of the workshop.

* Please note our Cancellation Policy for workshops requires 24 hours of notice in order to

   change your reservation or request a refund. 

** A minimum of 4 registrants is required. In the event that the workshop does not meet the minimum registration requirement by 12pm the day of, the workshop will be cancelled and refunds will be given.

***Those who tend to experience motion/sea sickness may want to take anti-motion

    sickness medicine or garlic pills half an hour before this class.
